A Message from the Author

Imagine a toy …

… a very special toy …

… one that hops, skips and jumps alongside you everywhere you go …

…one that sails with you across the oceans in that cardboard paper boat …

… and snuggles up to you at the end of a long eventful day.

Then imagine how - sometimes - that special toy goes on a little adventure of its own.

We have such a special toy – her name is Lola.

When little hearts break and seek comfort and reassurance, imagining Lola’s marvellous adventures, has become our family’s best game to play, every time she goes missing.

So much fun in fact that recently I decided to write down some of the stories we made up.

In collaboration with Little Steps Publishing UK and with beautiful watercolour illustrations by the talented Siski Kalla, I launched ‘Hop Lola Hop’ - the story of a little toy bunny who likes to Hop! - Hop! - Hop! - sometimes a little too much …
